Expolicía es declarado culpable por muerte de George Floyd

The jury in George Floyd’s murder trial has reached a verdict. Former police officer Derek Chauvin has been found guilty on all charges that caused the death of George Floyd in May of 2020.

Chauvin is guilty of second and third degree murder in addition to second-degree manslaughter. Los festejos no se hicieron esperar, crowds gathered outside of the courtroom in Minneapolis celebrating with chants of justice and black lives matter. Este es un momento historico in the fight against racism and social injustice. Por ahora, Chauvin faces up to 75 years behind bars.
